SecondSolve is local first. This policy explains when learning content leaves your device and the choices you control.
Information on your device
Notebooks, imported questions, images, recognized text, typed or handwritten work, diagnoses, review history, reminders, and backups stay on your device by default. Camera, Photos, Files, Pencil, printing, and notifications use Apple system permissions.
AI coaching
Before the first production AI request, the app asks for explicit consent. A request may include recognized question text, your submitted work, and diagnosis context needed to compare attempts. Requests pass through the SecondSolve service and may be processed by DeepSeek; demo mode sends no learning content off device.
Purchases and service records
Apple processes purchases. SecondSolve receives transaction and product identifiers and subscription status needed to verify Pro access and monthly AI allowance, but not full payment-card details. The service records subscription verification and usage counters and does not intentionally write question or solution content to the application database.
Use, sharing, and tracking
Information is used only to provide features, verify access, prevent abuse, answer support requests, and maintain reliability. It is shared only with Apple, the AI provider, and hosting infrastructure as needed. SecondSolve does not sell personal information, show behavioral ads, or use tracking SDKs.
Retention and choices
Local content remains until you delete it, restore a backup, or remove the app. You can export a backup, decline AI processing, disable reminders, and delete mistakes. Saved diagnoses remain readable after a subscription ends; where applicable, contact support to request deletion of server-side subscription and usage records.
Children, regions, and contact
SecondSolve does not ask for a child's name, school, or contact details; avoid adding identifying or sensitive information to learning content. AI may be unavailable in some regions due to compliance requirements. For privacy questions, email raydong1009@gmail.com.
